Go Joe. No One Cares. At Least I Don't.

What a pair.
Our favorite 'why don't i just call myself a Republican and be done with it' has a speaking spot at the GOP convention. Who can be surprised with that bit o' news?
Lieberman will deliver a speech when Republicans gather in St. Paul, Minn., to nominate McCain for president, a party official told The Associated Press on Wednesday. The official requested anonymity because a formal announcement had yet to be made.
Not only is he speaking at the convention, it seems his name is being batted about as the VP pick. Jesus. Tho, there is also the talk that because some Republicans speculate that Lieberman's name simply is being floated to make a Republican abortion-rights backer, former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge, seem more acceptable to conservatives. Ridge, too, is believed to be under serious consideration, along with former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, both Republicans and abortion-rights opponents.
As New York Times' columnist Gail Collins said so brilliantly
" Lieberman is certainly capable of dumping everything he has ever believed in and assuring the anti-choice, anti-union, anti-government folk that he is on their team. But then the magic fades and all you’ve got is a conservative Republican who likes the environment teamed with a guy who will do anything to move up. If that's all you’re looking for, you might as well take Mitt Romney."
Exactly!
So, please Joe, go.

Hoping Lieberman gets chosen for VP. I want to see Rush L. and his groupies gag on the whole Republican Party.
