Old School Top 10 or Upset Weekend # 2

Well, here we go again! What a weekend.
Texas moves to #1 with a big ol' upset Saturday defeating Oklahoma in the Red River Shootout. The Longhorns leapfrogged No. 2 Alabama on Sunday and sit atop The Associated Press Top 25 in the regular season for the first time in 24 years after beating Oklahoma 45-35.
Texas' jump from No. 5 to No. 1 is the largest since Miami went from No. 6 to No. 1 on Aug. 29, 1988, after beating preseason top-ranked Florida State 31-0 to start the season.
Texas, Alabama and Penn State? They're back. Michigan, Nebraska and Tennessee? Not so much.
Oklahoma drops from #1 to #4. LSU and Missouri both drop from the top 5. LSU landed at #12 and Missouri ends up #11.
Only Alabama stayed at the same spot as last week, and that is because they didn't play. Roll Tide!
