Wow! I thought the speech was right on the money. From "No Way, No How, No McCain" to "Whether you voted for me, or you voted for Barack, the time is now to unite as a single party with a single purpose,we are on the same team, and none of us can afford to sit on the sidelines."Perfect.
Her speech was exactly what was called for, and she delivered it with tremendous grace. And the sisterhood of the traveling pantsuits line was funny. Arguably, the best speech she has ever given. And, no matter what is said, I think she means it. What more can she say or do? Campaign, I know, but she will do that.
The audience was on her side the whole way. I was tremendously proud and again proud of my vote in the primary.
Come November, my vote of course will be for Barack Obama.
Ok, the keynote tonight was Mark 'i got me some teeth' Warner. Uh, I have no idea what he talked about except that he invented? sold? cell phones. Anyway, boring. BUT, the governor of Montana was great. He should have been the keynote.
