Poor A.G. So Misunderstood

It' so sad.
The president sez .."months of unfair treatment that has created a harmful distraction at the Justice Department." He added: "It's sad that we live in a time when a talented and honorable person like Alberto Gonzales is impeded from doing important work because his good name was dragged through the mud for political reasons." Uh, yeah.
A guy responsible for the torture memo. Which pretty much says it's ok to torture. Fired all those U.S. attorneys because, well, because they weren't Republican enough. And then lied about it. Said he wasn't responsible. The head of the Justice Dept. See that Department of Justice logo behind his head? He was head of that, but said he didn't know what was going on.Then said he did know, then didn't know. I'm not sure if it ended up if he said he knew or not. He probably doesn't remember either.
Let's see. Oh yeah...Gonzales also was at the center of a dispute over the controversial no-warrant eavesdropping program authorized by Bush and his testimony that there was no dissent among administration officials over the program. Gonzales later sent a letter to Senate leaders acknowledging he "may have created confusion" in his testimony. There seems to be a trend going on here...
Anyway, he's gone. Supposedly, the inquiries will continue. Let's hope so.

Michael Vick

I guess he was listening to Keith Olbermann last night at halftime( at least i think it was halftime) of the Sunday night game. Olbermann said that thing he should do is take full responsibility for actions. Which is what he did today. After pleading guilty in court, he made a statement to the press...accepting full responsibility for his actions. Good for him, i certainly don't see anybody anywhere else taking responsibility for anything. So it's refreshing to hear.
( also in his statement, he said he had found Jesus, but we can talk about that another time. At least he isn't going into rehab)

That's all for now.....
